Aidans Little Guy

Ok so the pictures are few a far between but the stories still arise on a daily basis. Granny gave Aidan a little stuffed elephant to play with which he promptly named, "elephant". He played with it the whole time we were there and Granny told him he could take it home with him. So....I am half way to Richmond when I look in the rear view mirror and notice that Aidan is crying. I asked him what was wrong and he replied, " I miss elephant, I left it at Grannys. Please go back and get it." I am thinking NO WAY AM I TURNING AROUND. So I told him that Granny would take good care of him and we would get it next time we visit. Well as I am driving I can hear Aidan in the back seat mumbling, " My poor little guy. The poor little guy." So I reluctantly asked him again why he was so worried about the elephant. His reply, " The little guy thinks I am his daddy and Granny's leg is broke, she can't take care of him !!! " Why didn't anyone warn me that these kids were way smarter than we could ever imagine? He makes me laugh every day.

AIDAN'S HAIR

The other day as we were leaving Blockbuster, Aidan did the unthinkable and stepped out into the road without looking. I was furious and scolded him pretty good and told him what would happen if he were hit by a car. Noa on the other hand was REALLY ANGRY. As he put Aidan in his car seat he plucked him on the head three good times and told him never to do that again. As Noa closed the door and walked around to get into the car I heard Aidan say to himself, "Well, at least my hair is alright."

AIDAN IS 4 TODAY

Today is Aidan's birthday. We had a small party with Granny and Aunt Missy. When I asked him what he wanted for his birthday he told me, " swim shoes, a water gun, a microphone for singing and......a viking helmet!" WHAT? When I asked him who wears a viking helment thinking he would mention a cartoon character. He promptly replied ,"Vikings sill". Needless to say i could not find a viking helmet. Good thing he didn't mention it again.

THANKSGIVING IN UTAH

Ok so I know it is christmas today and I still have not posted pics for Utah so here they are. Aidan and Ana took off like they haven't missed a single day together. Aidan talks all the time about Uncle Daryl ( who is really Aunt Tami) and that other boy who took me outside ( Eliah!!)

He had so much fun and can't wait to see everyone again.

Our neighbor came over to play with Aidan last evening. They blew bubbles, drank apple juice, and ate peanut butter crackers. They also had me running around the garage several times!!!! Needless to say, Aidan gave up for the night at 7:30.

Labor day weekend

The weekend started with another Givens birthday party. Elayna turns 3 and Esai is 5!!! The kids had so much fun. Aidan especially loved hitting the pinata and getting all the candy. He was so funny because he was hitting it like a samurai. He also said that he loved Toni's cookies the best!!!
